For the Vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3I have a vision to reach out to inner city youth by attracting them with Music to the word of God. I have a mission to share with them of all the things that God has brought me through. I need the youth to understand if He (God) did it for me He can do it for them too! My personal Lord and Savior is no respecter of persons. What He does for one He will do for all.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34
I grew up without
either of my parents. I never knew my
father and my mother gave me up to the state at the age of 9 years old. I
was raised in the streets and taught the wrong way to live life by Gang
Members. Due to growing up in that culture, I served time, doing over 13
years in prison. Some of the time I did
was due to my own poor choices, others it was due to crimes that I did not
commit. However, God has used me in my time of incarceration to lead some
of the hardest criminals to follow Him.
I live my life according to the Word of God and His Will and Purpose.
I have been shot and flat lined due to my injuries, But God had other plans for me and pulled me through. I took 200 Tylenol PM pills, I died for two days and was on life support for two weeks trying to take my own life when I was looking at 126 years in Prison. My ex-wife was by my side and wrapped me in my prayer cloth and prayed Psalms over me and I am still alive today due to the Grace of God. God kept me here not once but twice to reach our inner-city youth. I am a soldier for the Lord, and I have a mission to save our inner-city youth and lead them to eternal life.
I want to give back.... My time, My resources, My story. This life that I have been blessed with is not mine, it is God's. I know that I am called to Music Ministry, I have been a rapper since the age of 16. God blessed me with the ability to write my own lyrics and share my life struggles in songs.
I have a vision to own my own church, preach the Gospel and I want to use the calling on my life, experiences and music as a way to attract and guide the youth to the word of God. I want to flood their ear gate with the truth and the way to salvation by bringing them church through music:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, Thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11
